Description
The Bronze Civil Protection Medal and Ribbon were established in 2004 to honor those who provided assistance during disasters. In 2008, the rules were improved, creating two categories ("of excellence" and "of merit") with different classes. In 2009, the colors and design of the ribbon were changed, and the distinction between military and civilian personnel was eliminated.
