Enamel Metal Epaulettes for Shirt 41st Mechanized Infantry Modena SUMMER (232)

Description

Enamel metal epaulettes for shirts, equipped with a clip. The 41st Mechanized Infantry "Modena" was a unit of the Italian Army stationed at Villa Vicentina, in the province of Udine, at the "Bafile-Rossani" barracks from October 1975 to April 1991 as a battalion. In May 1991, it became a regiment and moved to the "Ugo Polonio" barracks in Gradisca d'Isonzo, in the province of Gorizia, as its last location before its final disbandment on September 30, 1995. From 1987 to 1995, with the "Gorizia" Brigade under the direct command of the 5th Army Corps, the epaulettes were white with two side bands in crimson maroon (historical colors of the 41st). At the base of the epaulettes was the silver five-pointed star bordered in black, symbolizing the Italian armed forces.
