The most important armored vehicle of large military units and the main tool of action are tanks. These vehicles are also a powerful support for mobile troops. They are protected from individual and automatic weapons and fragments of bullets, and use the fire of their weapons and the physical impact of their mass to act on the battlefield.
The text in question is present in the 1941 circular entitled "Use of armored units". This event took place 95 years ago, on October 1, 1927, with the creation of the "Tank Regiment" at Fort Tiburtino in Rome. This event marked the birth of the tank specialty, which played a fundamental role in the development of mechanized warfare and had a significant impact during World War II.
