The "Folgore" Paratroopers Brigade is one of the Great Units that the Armed Force counts among its projection forces.

Consisting of regiments composed of Volunteers in Fixed Station, Short or Permanent Service, by virtue of the

particular training which its personnel undergo, represents a light infantry force always available for use.

Equipped with both means that guarantees air transport and air-launching, it has some armored pawns.

Located in Tuscany, Lazio and Veneto, it consists of a Command and Support Department, three basic weapon regiments, one of artillery,

one of line cavalry, one sapper genius and one of maneuvering. The Parachuting Training Center is also part of the brigade.
